PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A Pizza Hut employee was the victim of an armed robbery near Provo Canyon Friday morning- The suspect made off with bags full cash.

According to police, the incident happened Friday, October 12, at 10:20 a.m. near 1523 North Canyon Road.

Police say the employee was walking the night deposit cash to the nearby Wells Fargo, but before he could reach the bank, the employee was approached by a man with a knife.

Provo Police say the suspect had a fixed blade kitchen knife with a green handle and told the employee "Don't make me ask twice." The employee handed over the red Wells Fargo deposit bags containing the night deposit money.

After taking the money, police say the suspect ran southbound through the nearby Riviera Apartments.

Provo Police Officers arrived in the area minutes after the call but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim described the suspect as approximately 5'10" with a thin build. The suspect had wrapped a blue shirt around his head and was wearing sunglasses.
