SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say officers deployed a taser gun to capture a burglary suspect in Salt Lake City Thursday morning.
According to police, an officer stopped a pedestrian at 1151 South 300 West who matched the description of a burglary suspect.
Police say the man became uncooperative and fled on foot.
When the officer caught up to him, police say the suspect became combative and resisted the arrest.
Police say the officer used his taser to subdue the man, who was later identified as 37-year-old Phillipe Wilson, who was booked on warrants and charges.
