SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man robbed a clothing store in Salt Lake City over the weekend.
SLC PD Detectives are investigating the robbery of Uptown Cheapskate at 353 West 200 South.
Police say that at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, a man entered the business and walked behind the counter, demanding money.
The suspect brandished a weapon, described by the clerk as something that looked like a Taser, according to police.
After receiving some cash, police say the suspect fled the store in an easterly direction, getting into a blue Toyota Corolla, license plate unknown.
Police described the suspect as a Native American man, 5’5” tall, weighing 155 lbs. with long black hair, wearing a white hoodie sweat shirt, dark shorts and white sports shoes.
