SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police in Murray and Salt Lake City have linked two Zions Bank robberies to the same suspect, who wore a wig during the hold-ups.
Police say 54-year-old Nile Gene Nelson is the person responsible for the robberies of two separate Zions Bank branches on Tuesday October 27.
The first robbery happened Tuesday morning at the Zions Bank on 5595 S. State in Murray. The second happened Tuesday afternoon at the Zions on 910 W. 2100 South.
Police say during both robberies, Nelson showed tellers a note demanding cash. He was wearing a blonde wig during the morning robbery and a dark wig in the afternoon robbery.
Nelson is described as a male white adult, 6’0” tall, weighing 200 lbs., with short dark hair.
