Northern Utah Cities under budgeted for snow removal

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - One after another cities along the Wasatch front have been pounded by big storms dropping several inches of wet, heavy snow. The unexpected snowfall is making it difficult for cities to keep within their set snow removal budget.

I wish they would just ask the public to pay a little extra. I'm sure they would. I definitely would. I live in WVC and we've seen what happens when they don't put salt down or plow the roads. Send a bill out to each resident for a small amount. $5 maybe. That would be easy to pay and we would be able to put a lot of money back into the budget. Snow removal is hard to budget for. It's not the same from year to year.
