SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Best Friends Animal Society hosted a Neighborhood Pitbull Day Saturday, showing pitbulls can be friendly pets.
This event follows a pitbull attack on a Salt Lake police officer that happened Monday. This was the accused dog, Gotti's, second attack.
Best Friends Animal Society wants to help Gotti, but is worried by new details about the attack. Best Friends says dogs are much more likely to bite or attack a person if they're not spayed or neutered.
Gotti is on death row for his latest attack.
