DRAPER UTAH (ABC 4 News) - Police found a body that they believe is that of a woman who went missing Sunday afternoon.

Police say 55 year old Lisa Rosa's body was found near a construction sight about eight hours after their search began.

"It's a sad thing. she was a great person," says neighbor Ron Cook. "She was the kind of person that adopted an abused dog
We're going to miss her a lot."

Police and neighbors began searching around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

"From what I understand it was like eight degrees up here," says Draper spokesperson Maridene Hancock.

That's what Rosa was facing when she left her home. And a press release issued by Draper police indicated she didn't have shoes or a coat.

Those who helped search knew that time was critical.

"Of course we worked from their home and worked out way out," says Cook."It was a sense of urgency. Police knew that. They had a helicopter and had a number of police here to coordinate things."

And then at around 9:30 Sunday night, she was found near a construction sight at the top of South Mountain.

"At this point there's no indication of foul play," says Hancock. "The scene is still under investigation."

A number of neighbors and police officers joined the search and many of the officers stayed at the scene until midnight and returning at the crack of dawn.

"I know that the Rosas want to thank everyone for all they did because it was a lot," says Cook.

Draper police are awaiting results from the medical examiners office to determine the cause of death.
