Men forced to spend night on ledge near Willard Peak

WILLARD, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Two stranded men will have to wait the night out on a 25 inch ledge, next to a sheer cliff, near Willard Peak in Box Elder County.

The call came in around 5:30 p.m. that two men were stranded on London Spire, the southernmost peak in the Willard Spires, Box Elder County Sheriff Lynn Yates said

Yates said one of the men is seriously injured, possibly with two broken legs.

Rescue efforts have been delayed until Sunday morning.

Rescuers flew clothing and shelter to the individuals to sustain them through the night.

Lifeflight, Box Elder County Sheriff, as well as Weber County Sheriff are the agencies involved.
