Man robs Granite Credit Union in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE (ABC 4 News) - An armed robbery occurred at Granite Credit Union in Taylorsville Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at 3109 West 4700 South.

Police said the suspect presented a note to the teller indicating that he wanted money and that he was armed.

The teller gave him the money and the suspect left, walking eastbound.

No one was hurt and no one actually saw a weapon.

According to police, the suspect is a Caucasian male in his 30's and was wearing a black mustache and sideburns which appeared to be fake. He had a scar or sore below his right eye.

The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
