SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) A Magna man has been charged with sexually molesting a victim that spans nearly a dozen years.
Barry Morrison was charged with numerous counts of object rape, rape and forcible sex abuse.
According to charging documents, Morrison began fondling his victim when she was five years old.
But then the alleged sex crimes worsened.
By the time she was twelve years old the victim claims she was "raped so many times she lost count."
Morrison left his Magna home and found a place to stay with an old friend.
"He claimed that she made up the story," says the woman who doesn't want to be identified.
But after his arrest, the woman says she's "disgusted" to know that he was under the same roof as her 17-year old daughter.
"I don't think she was molested," says the woman. "She tells me everything."
Meanwhile, Morrison remains in the Salt Lake County jail on a $250,000 cash only bail.
