LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A possible structure fire started by a lightening strike at Terrace Grove Assisted Living Center on Friday required a visit from the fire department.
Fifty residents were evacuated to the Wellness Center next door to the facility that spewed smoke from its peak.
There were two minor injuries to two of the residents. Damages to the property are estimated to be 25,000 to 50,000 dollars. The cost could exceed this amount pending investigation of the cause of the fire.
Five fire engines and 50 firefighters responded to the call and worked to remove charred materials from the attic.
