Lawyer wants case dismissed in DJ Bell beating

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The seven suspects in the beating of a man and his partner were in court again today.
33 year-old Ieti Mageo is charged with aggravated assault, burglary and riot. His wife 30 year-old Lulu Latu is charged with riot.
The couple and five others are accused in the brutal beating David Bell and his partner Dan Fair after a July 4th party in 2008.
Bell was originally charged with kidnapping the couple's young children but he was acquitted.
Defense attorneys argued today in court, the case should be tossed out. They said their clients cooperated with prosecutors and testified at trial because they thought they wouldn't face charges.
