SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Due to a limited supply of the H1N1 vaccine , its availability has varied between health departments.

Below is an updated list of H1N1 vaccine availability according to health department and locations.

In keeping with CDC guidelines, many clinics have reserved the H1N1 vaccine for:
•pregnant women (nasal spray not recommended)
•household contacts and caregivers of infants under six months
•health care and emergency response workers
•people six months to 24 years
•people 25 to 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk complications for influenza (nasal spray not recommended)

Also check with your local doctor to see if they are administering H1N1 vaccines.

Health officials also recommend seeing your physician or care provider to see if you qualify for one of the above risk factors.

Bear River Health Department: Vaccines available from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. 

           Logan - Have H1N1 flu mist available. This vaccine is now available for any healthy person ages 2-49. Injectable vaccine for those 6 months – 35 months is also available. These doses are half doses manufactured only for this age group.

           Brigham - Have H1N1 flu mist available. This vaccine is now available for any healthy person ages 2-49. Injectable vaccine for those 6 months – 35 months is also available. These doses are half doses manufactured only for this age group.

Central Utah Public Health Department (Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Wayne counties): Please call on the morning of the scheduled clinic to verify if the clinic will be held.

Sevier County: December 15th from 3-6pm at the North Sevier High School (350 West 400 North). December 21st from 3-6 pm at the Richfield Office. December 30th from 3-6pm at the Richfield Office

*All other days any left over vaccine from the prior clinic will be given out at a walk-in clinic at the Richfield office. These walk-in clinics will be during the hours of 9:00am to 4:00 pm.*

Piute County: Available at the Junction Office during office hours Tuesday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm. Please call ahead.

Wayne County: Available at the Loa Office during office hours Tuesday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Please call ahead.

Juab: By Appointment only 

East Millard: December 15th from 3-5pm at Pahvant Senior Center (55 South 400 West, Fillmore). December 22nd from 3-5pm at Pahvant Senior Center (55 South 400 West, Fillmore).

West Millard: December 17th from 2-5pm at the Millard County Fair Bldg (187 South Manzanita Ave, Delta). December 21st from 2-5pm at the Millard County Fair Bldg. (187 South Manzanita Ave, Delta).

North Sanpete: Call office for more information.
        
South Sanpete: Call office for more information.


Davis County Health Department: Clinics now open to the general public. Tickets are encouraged and walk-ins are welcome. Adults may pick up tickets for their immediate household members only.

CLINIC DATES AND TIMES:

Friday, Dec. 11, 3-8 p.m.: Bountiful Regional Center – 835 North 400 East, North Salt Lake.

Saturday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.: Bountiful Regional Center – 835 North 400 East, North Salt Lake.

Dress appropriately for the weather (such as coats, umbrellas, sunblock, etc.) because a majority of your wait will be outside. Also, wear a short-sleeved shirt (under your coat, if applicable) to speed your vaccination process.

Rich County Health Department:
Vaccine temporarily not available.


San Juan Health Department:
Next vaccination clinic will be held on December 15th from 4-6 p.m. in the Blanding office for priority groups. An additional priority group of people ages 24-64 with health problems has been added.


Salt Lake Valley Health Department: As of Monday, December 14th the general public can receive the H1N1 vaccine in Salt Lake County.

        Online appointments - open from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

        Tuesday, December 15th:

Please Note: Hotline and online appointment booking will close before 4:00 p.m. if all available appointments are filled.

SLVHD has paired with three pharmacy chains to distribute H1N1 vaccines. Participating pharmacies will be offering H1N1 shots on a limited basis. People are encouraged to call their local pharmacy in advanced for appointments. To find participating locations, visit

Walgreens will start offering H1N1 vaccines at 18 Salt Lake City area pharmacies beginning Thursday. Vaccinations will be offered to the priority groups outlined by the CDC on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Walgreens pharmacists in Utah are able to provide immunizations to those age 13 and older. To find the nearest Walgreens offering H1N1 vaccine, consumers should call 1-800-Walgreens or visit http://www.walgreens.com/flu.

Southwest Utah Public Health Department:
H1N1 vaccine will be available at the following locations WHILE SUPPLIES LAST to the listed priority groups:
• Everyone 6 months - 24 years of age
• Parents/caregivers of infants under 6 months of age
• Pregnant women



Southwest/Washington County Utah Public Health Department: 

Washington County:
No clinics currently scheduled.

Iron County:
No clinics currently scheduled.

Kane County:
Information not available. Call 435-644-2537. The clinic is open to priority groups as listed above.

Beaver County:
Information not available. Call 435-438-2482 for more information. The clinic is open to priority groups as listed above.

Garfield County:
Clinics are held weekly. Call for an appointment at 435-676-8800.

Tooele County Health Department:
The following clinics are open to the General Public by appointment only:

Saturday, December 19th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

There will be no clinics held on Thursday, December 24th and Thursday, December 31st.

There is no charge for H1N1 vaccinations, however, the health department is asking to bring your insurance card if you have one.


Tri-County Health Department: (Daggett, Duchesne, Uintah counties):
Vaccine available through appointment only.

If you reside in Vernal, call 435-247-1177 for an appointment.

If you reside in Roosevelt, call 435-722-6302 for an appointment.



Utah County Health Department:
UCHD has open online reservations for H1N1 vaccine appointments. Appointments can be made by clicking here.

Appointments will be available for Thursday, December 10th from 3 to 7pm. All vaccinations will take place at the Health and Justice Building (151 S. University Ave, Provo).

If you cannot register online, a very limited amount of vaccine will be available on Thursday from 3 to 6 pm. Both days, UCHD will give priority to individuals with reservations. All others will be served people first-come/first-served basis. If lines develop, you will be given a ticket to return at a later time. It is strongly recommended.



Wasatch County Health District:
Clinic will be held on Monday, December 14 from
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or until vaccine runs out for all county residents--no age restrictions.


Weber-Morgan Health Department:
Last H1N1 mass vaccination clinics of 2009 will be held on December 15, 16 and 29, 30 at the Weber County Fairgrounds, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. NO TICKETS REQUIRED.
