SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Two duck hunters were found dead hours after their boat capsized on the Great Salt Lake near Saltair.

Chad Tohinaka and Logan Hardman, both 25, were identified early Sunday shortly after the Unified Police Department brought their bodies to shore.

The men launched their boat around 1 p.m., said Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department. As they were returning to the harbor, after about three hours on the lake, harsh weather hit and their boat began to take on water, which eventually capsized the vessel.

The hunters' boat was found in about 8 feet of water around 9:45 p.m. and the missing hunters were located around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

A third man, 24, who decided to swim to shore, was rescued from the water near Saltair, said Hoyal.

According to Hoyal, the men were treading water near their capsized boat for about 15 minutes when the third man decided to swim to shore.
