SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The new Utah area code is now iin use, and one school district says all of its numbers are changing.
Granite School District says all schools will change to the new 385 area code on June 15.
That means if anyone needs to reach a child at school when they go back into session or a teacher, they’ll need to dial the new area code to get through.
The reason for the change is so the school district will have the same area code even if it adds new numbers.
