SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) A fire left one occupant out in the cold Sunday night. The fire started in an apartment unit on 2021 S. 200 E. The cause of the blaze is unknown, but firefighters said it started from a pile of rags in the apartment. The tenant was not home at the time of the fire starting.

Crews responded and aggressively put the fire out before effecting any other unit. The entire complex was evacuated as a precaution. No one was injured, however the apartment was completely destroyed by the fire and high pressure hoses.
