AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) - A former LDS seminary principal who allegedly had a sexual relationship with a Utah County student has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.

Michael Jay Pratt entered the not guilty pleas to multiple charges of forcible sodomy, object rape, rape and forcible sexual abuse in 4th District Court in American Fork on Tuesday. A trial is set for April 12.

Police have said the 37-year-old Pratt had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl for several months earlier this year.

Pratt had been seminary principal at Lone Peak High School. The girl was a student.

Pratt has since been fired.
