Driver injured when car hits stopped semi

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) -- Utah Highway Patrol is investigating what caused a car to rear end a stopped semi truck.
The accident happened Tuesday about 6 p.m. at the intersection of Bangerter Highway and California Ave. The truck was stopped at the red light, when the car hit it.
The female driver of the car was flown to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.
No word on what caused the accident
