SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Businesses in downtown Salt Lake City are feeling the positive effects of the LDS General Conference.

"This is by far the busiest I've seen it," said Chae Allred, an employee at the Blue Lemon in downtown Salt Lake City.

Exact figures about the event's impact are still lacking, although, all you've got to do is talk to a local business owner and they'll tell you this weekend can generate some serious money for their business.

"This is pretty epic," said Allred.

All five sessions fill up the 21,200-seat LDS Conference Center.  Afterwards, people are hungry so they fill up local restaurants like the Blue Lemon right across the street.

"We've been putting together lunch boxes to go," said Allred.  "When people come out of Conference, we're the first thing they see."

While many people who attend the sessions are Utahns, as the years go by, more and more national and international visitors fly in for conference.  Over 100,000 members from around the globe come to Salt Lake City for this event.
