DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Speeding is one of the most common factors contributing to car crashes, and Davis County officials say they're going to put a stop to it.
$150,000 in grant money will help Davis County police agencies, the Highway Patrol, and UDOT. These officers will be out in full force throughout the summer.
Word from officials is that it's more than about just keeping the roads safe.
Cory Pope, UDOT Region 1 Director said that the intent is, "An effort to slow folks down and to make them aware of the dangers here and in the construction zones."
