WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Cody Reece decided to get physical in court when a prosecutor accused him of changing his story.
He shot and beat a wife and mother with the butt of a gun killing her in cold blood.
Here is the transcript from inside the courtroom leading up to the scuffle:
Prosecutor: An absolutely senseless act. The defendant on the stand at trial told a story. A story that changed several times.
Reece: It never changed over time.
(an audible struggle of about 12 seconds follows)
Judge Lubeck: Let's take a minute and see if he can calm down a minute and we'll come back.
Reece was subdued before the Judge handed down the sentence of life without parole.
