WOODS CROSS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a huge refinery fire in Woods Cross just 36 hours ago.
Tonight, members of the U.S. chemical safety board gave an update on their initial findings. CSB
investigators concluded that the explosion occurred in a congested area, where several chemical processes were occuring at the same time."Confinement, restriction can lead to generate even greater pressure which can cause greater damage," said lead investigator Donald Holmstrom.
Investigators say they also spoke to local residents and city leaders today and will continue to put the pieces together.
