SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – Two Salt Lake City homes are cleaning up after a water main breaks sending water into their homes.
Salt Lake City Fire Department got a call about 9:30 a.m. Saturday that a fire hydrant was gushing water, near 2100 E and 2000 S.
Crews tried to turn off the hydrant and found that it was actually a water main near the hydrant that was gushing.
Two homes received water damage.
One home had about six inches of water in it, creating moderate damage.
The other home has minor water damage after water seeped down the walls.
Salt Lake City Public Utilities and a disaster cleanup team also responded.
