BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC4 News) - Police say a Bountiful woman stabbed her boyfriend with a kitchen knife, killing him Tuesday night.
Police say they received a call late Tuesday night from a man living in the Summer Garden Apartments at 2520 South 500 West in Bountiful. When officers arrived, police say they found 53-year-old Michael Dun on the floor of his apartment with stab wounds.
Police say investigators soon located Dun's girlfriend, 43-year-old Shannon Sander, who told police that she had stabbed Dun.
Police say Sander had asked the neighbor to call 911 after she stabbed Dun with a kitchen knife.
Police say emergency crews tried to revive Dun, but he died at the scene.
Sander was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
Bountiful Police are still investigating what happened, but believe alcohol may have been a factor in the case.
