Police say two bank robbery suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, but not before leaving a suspicious package behind.
Police say two men walked into the Zions Bank at 1420 South and 300 West Monday at about 11:30 a.m. and approached the teller window, demanding cash.
Two suspects entered the bank with hooded sweatshirts and ski type masks over their faces.
Police say the tellers complied and the men exited the bank, leaving a suspicious package behind.
Police and emergency officials evacuated the building before a bomb squad robot was used to detonate the package inside the bank.
The first suspect is described as an adult male, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect is described as an adult male, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
Police say the two suspects were still at large and the tellers were being questioned.
