SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police are asking for the public's help after a man robbed a bank and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Unified Police Department received a call of a bank robbery at the Utah First Bank located at 3826 South 2300 East around 1:30 in the afternoon.
The suspect presented a note to the teller indicating that he wanted money. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot. He was seen leaving the area in a black passenger car with fin or spoiler on the back.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery. The suspect did not show, or threaten with any weapons.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, mid-20's, 5 feet 9 inches, 160 lbs, brown hair, wearing a plaid hat, grey puffy coat, black t-shirt, sunglasses and red pants. The car he got away in was a black passenger car with a fin or spoiler on the back and low profile tires.
UPD Detectives are releasing the suspect photos in hopes that someone will recognize this suspect. If anyone has any information as to who this suspect is they are asked to contact the Unified Police Department at 801-743-5915.
