SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - West Valley City police have arrested a 29-year-old man they believe is responsible for putting two pipe bombs in a truck that was being repossessed.

Authorities say Michael John Owens was arrested late Wednesday night on suspicion of two counts of possessing an explosive device.

Police say a repossession company picked up a vehicle Tuesday night and took it to a shop in Salt Lake City. Workers who were cleaning out the truck found what looked like pipe bombs.

Salt Lake City bomb squad members responded and detonated the devices.

West Valley City SWAT team members and a bomb squad served a search warrant on Owens' house Wednesday, where they found him and seized evidence.

Officials say there's no further threat to the public.
