SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – Technology leaders from around the world are getting ready to descend on Salt Lake City for the annual Adobe Summit.
It may not be like jumping from space, but Adobe executives think the super skydiver Felix Baumgartner can teach the digital marketing industry a little something about pushing the limits. He'll be speaking at the Summit about what it was like to jump 24 miles from space.
Adobe Vice President and General Manager of Digital Marketing Brad Rencher said, "No matter what industry you're in or what walk of life, it's about doing things you didn't think were possible before."
From Photoshop to Illustrator, Adobe has been pushing the limits on what the digital industry is capable of since its inception and they've brought a major piece of that tech world to the Salt Lake Valley.
"Utah really has been, has become, the foundation for Adobe's overall technology efforts,” explained Rencher. “We have almost 1,000 employees in the state and we've found the workforce to be young, vibrant highly educated and really, really talented."
Now the technology leader is giving even more to Utah with over 50 companies and 5,000 people coming in for the Summit, and not just from the United States, visitors are coming to Salt Lake from 27 different countries.
"There's a hunger in digital for people to understand what's happening next so they are coming from all over the world to Salt Lake City to spend the week together,” said Rencher.
While this will be Adobe’s largest Summit, they're hoping next year will be even larger.
