PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) -ESPN’s “College GameDay” is in Provo this weekend as BYU hosts unbeaten TCU Saturday. Ken Tasker was at the front of the line among the many students and fans waiting to enter the coveted pit area behind the ESPN stage.

He’s part of a crowd of several hundred people camping out in the parking lot of LaVell Edwards Stadium. Tasker says he’s been there since Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile GameDay host Chris Fowler reacts to the almost rock star like treatment his crew seems to get no matter where they go. Folwer said, “I know rock stars, we’re no rock stars. We’re just guys who are excited to be at the sight of the biggest game, and hopefully we reflect that in the show.”

I asked Fowler what would happen if GameDay analyst Lee Corso would end Saturday’s show by putting on a gigantic Horned Frog outfit, which would mean Corso would pick TCU over BYU. Fowler said,” It’s up to the crowd, he’s been booed before. He doesn’t mind earning the wrath of the crowd.”

Fowler says that portion of the show has included costumes, props, and even firearms.
