16-year-old boy killed in auto-pedestrian crash

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say a 16-year-old boy was killed after being hit while crossing a street on his skateboard.
Police say the boy was hit at around 9:30 p.m. by a northbound SUV Thursday night at the intersection on 2300 East Roosevelt.
Police say the victim passed away on Friday after being transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.
His name was not immediately released to the public, pending notification of his family.
