New state auditor requests resignation of entire staff

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah's state auditor-elect is cleaning house before he takes office.

ABC 4 News has confirmed that every employee with the state auditor's office has been asked to resign, and then to reapply for their own jobs.

One worker told ABC 4 News is an uncommon request in general, but not for incoming auditor John Dougall.

Dougall sent out the letter informing all employees of the request.
