PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 News) – As part of the ABC News challenge, ABC4 is featuring Utah companies keeping jobs and money in America. If we each spend just $64 this Holiday season on American made products, we can create 200,000 new jobs.
Here’s the goal for Liberty Safe; no need to bring in materials or parts from overseas, instead make them here in the Payson facility.
The company is bringing in a new line. It’s fully automated and should start up next month. With this addition, they will make a new size of safe and add nearly 100 more jobs.
Liberty Safe builds a variety of types of safe, protecting anything. While it started with guns, that’s now a minor issue. The safes protect jewelry, important papers; just anything that would have gone in a safety box.
