SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – Listen up all you Love Birds out there; if you just got engaged and need help planning go to the Salt Palace this weekend.

The dress, tux, flowers, cake pictures; a wedding is a lot of work! You can get help during the Bridal Showcase. It’s the state’s first and largest bridal show.

Amy Hawke from the Flower Patch knows weddings. She told ABC4, now is the time to get working on that important day. Hawke said, “This is the first show of the year. Many women are now engaged, super excited and they are ready to get started.”

The Bridal Showcase has been around since 1983 bringing Utah wedding vendors together in one place. The showcase makes it easy for brides and helps bring companies together to easily share their message and attract business.

George Gutierriz from Bed, Bath & Beyond is a regular to the show, “This is one of the biggest bridal shows for the year. There will be an awesome turn out this and we’ll see great results.”

Dee Shirts from Tuxedo Junction has been running his formal wear shop in Utah for nearly 30 years. His goal for the weekend is pretty simple, “Attract new brides who just got engaged!”

That’s the same idea for the 120 plus vendors together this weekend; share their products, get business and help Utah’s brides.
