SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A handful of Utah-based businesses made the top 100 of
Inc.com's 31st annual 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing, private companies in America.
Campus Book Rentals of Ogden and
Complete Merchant Solutions of Provo scored highest on the list at 17th and 19th in the country.
Construction company
Edge Homes of Orem came in at #53, while Midvale-based
MediForge placed at #55. MediaForge specializes in marketing strategies for its online clients.
Pharmacy benefit management
VRx based out of Murray came in at #70, while women's boutique chain
Bohme out of Sandy came in at #83.
Inc.'s list tracks growth of privately-owned companies over the past three years.
Most of the top companies on the list saw growth at extremely accelerated rates. The top company on the list, Unified Payments out of North Miami Beach showed a growth rate at more than 23,000 percent.
The Utah companies in the top 100 of the list scored between 8,000 and 3,000 percent growth over the past three years.
