Services set for fallen UHP trooper

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Department of Public Safety announced funeral arraignments for fallen UHP trooper Aaron Beesley, who died Saturday night while participating in the rescue of stranded hikers on Utah’s Mount Olympus.

Funeral Services for Trooper Beesley  were scheduled for Saturday, July 7, at Northridge High School, 2430 North Hill Field Road, and was scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.

A public Viewing was scheduled for Friday at Northridge High School, from 5 to 8:00 pm. A viewing was also scheduled to be held prior to the Funeral Services, between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Internment will take place at the West Point Cemetery, 40 N. 4000 West in West Point Utah.

A memorial trust fund has been set up for Trooper Beesley’s family under the name of the Aaron Beesley Memorial Account at America First Credit Union.

People wishing to do so may contribute funds at any America First Credit Union.
