ROY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say two Roy High School students were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to bomb a school assembly.
Investigators discovered the alleged plot and arrested the teens on Wednesday.
According to Roy Police Department, 18-year-old Dallin Morgan was booked into the Weber County Jail, while 16-year-old boy Joshua Hoggan was taken to the Weber Valley Detention Center.
Police say school administrators alerted police when they discovered maps of the campus, along with information about the school's security systems.
Police say escape plans that included a plot to use a plane from the Ogden Hinckley Airport were also found, and that investigators discovered that the students used computer flight simulation programs to prepare for their getaway.
Police say investigators also took action to secure the property while trying to locate any explosive devices or material at the school, although no suspicious items found. Thursday classes and other school events went on as planned on Thursday.
Police said that the FBI was assisting with forensic analysis of computers confiscated during the investigation.
