LAYTON, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A couple in Layton have a lot to be thankful for. It's been two days since the husband's best friend, his dog, sprang into action and saved his wife in a fire.

Not only should smoke detectors be mandatory. Extinguishers on each floor should be too!
