SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - In Murray Doctor Joseph Cramer, with Cottonwood Pediatrics, says what is not going around in Utah so far is swine flu.

But that the habits of frequent hand washing and using disposable tissues is always advisable.

Now Murray has seen several cases of croup, which is a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract that causes obstruction in the airways. He suggests breathing cold air.

In Layton, Dr Shauna Gagner with Intermountain Kids Care says she is seeing strep throat often accompanied by a fever, headache, abdominal pain and sometimes even vomiting.

She warns that strep does need to be treated with antibiotics or it could turn into something more serious like the Rheumatic Fever.

Up in Ogden Dr Isabel Cristina Lau at Mountainstar Ogden Pediatrics says some colds are turning into pneumonia, bronchitis or even sinus infections. She recommends eating honey to help with mild cases of cough and ibuprofen for fevers.
