In Layton, doctor Shauna Gagner with Intermountain Kidscare says kids in Layton are passing around the flu and other flu like illnesses with symptoms like fever, fatigue and respiratory problems.She says practicing good hand washing and staying home when you are sick will help stop the spread.
In South Jordan, Dr. Zak Zarbock with Families First Pediatrics says he's seeing a lot of flu-like illnesses and several cases of Influenza A.
Symptoms can include a fever, chills, a runny nose and cough.
South Jordan is also seeing that dreaded childhood illness—Strep throat.
