Vets warn of Xylitol poisoning after it kills Layton dog

LAYTON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A Layton family is mourning the loss of their pet dog after it died suddenly from Xylitol poisoning.

I don't think it's related....dogs digest differently than humans. Feed a small dog a bar of 85% dark chocolate and you'll have a similar outcome. My heart goes out to the family
