SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - If you're hungry for breakfast, and cold cereal just won't cut it, you'll love a swanky little place called “Eggs in the City”. It’s the latest stop on ABC 4’s 2012 tour of Utah’s Famous Breakfast Stops.
If you go into Eggs in the City, one of the first things you'll notice is the atmosphere. It’s like New York’s Greenwich Village meets Sugarhouse. No employee wears a uniform. It's one of those places that everyone accepts everybody, and their menu shows that. They've got something for every appetite. They're most known for their Huevos Rancheros- two eggs smothered in red ranchero sauce, bell peppers and onions, served on top of two corn tortillas. But they also do breakfast burritos, a vegetarian skillet, and they serve fresh fruit every day, etc.
Salt Lake Magazine rated it “Best Brunch of 2010.”
If you’d like to check out Eggs in the City, it’s located at 1675 E. 1300 S. in Salt Lake City. It opens daily at 7:00 a.m.
