SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Remember that controversial list of suspected Utah illegal immigrants?

Well, Teresa Bassett - the mastermind behind it - was back in court Tuesday.

Bassett, it appears, wouldn't mind if I was added to the list of people she wants deported.

Here’s our initial exchange played out:

ABC 4: “Can we ask you why you are here today?”

Bassett: “Please go away.”

The last time we saw Bassett was in June.

Heavily disguised, she was sentenced to 250 hours of community service.

This was in response to her role in creating Utah's infamous immigrant list.

The list was sent to local law enforcement agencies and to various Utah media outlets.

Back then, Bassett took a moment to question my ancestry.

Specifically, she called me a,

"Stupid b------."

Now, six months later, the court confirmed that Bassett has performed her community service.

Emerging from court this time, Bassett offered this holiday season greeting to ABC 4,

"You better get away from me."

But we wondered, half a year later, if Bassett had any remorse about compiling the immigrant list:

"Do you regret what you did with the list?”

“Would you do it again?"

This former state worker refused to answer any more of our questions.

Including our final one,

"Do you have anything you want to say to me?"

When I asked that, Bassett simply raised her eyebrows.

THE REPORTER "CHRIS VANOCUT" SHOULD REALLY "GO AWAY". HE SHOULD BE DEPORTED WITH THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ON THE "LIST" AND MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH AND ANY OTHERS (GOVERNOR, A.G., HEAD OF THE SLC C.O.C., SUTHERLAND GROUP, ETC.) THAT FEEL TERESA BASSETT DID ANYTHING WRONG. I FELT THAT CHRIS DID A VERY POOR JOB REPORTING THIS STORY.... HE SEEMED TO BE JUST LIKE THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT SO-CALLED LEADER "YAPALOT" THAT CHASED HER DOWN THE HALL, AND ACTED A FOOL. TERESA.....YOU DID THE RIGHT THING AND MOST OF UTAH CITIZENS ARE FULLY BEHIND YOU...

I do not think she should have been prosecuted, she was doing her civic duty by reporting those that were openly disobeying the law of the land. Those on those on the list should have been deported. But when it comes to illegals the LDS Church and politicians seem to forget the most basic law of the land, you can not enter this Country without going through the proper channels. Deport, deport, deport those of us who grew up in the United States of America, do not appreciate our Country being turned into the united states of half of Mexican illegals. Revolution happens when the people have had enough of the big government not giving a damn for our ancestors who fought for a free America, where the law is the law no matter who brakes it. Just know Teresa Bassett you are not alone in your fight for justice against the illegals or those who make excuses or don't want to loose the votes of the legal ones.
