get a life and stop hatin ur mad because u could neva write a book or direct a movie this good

ppuko8 you must be a grumpy old man. My 40 year old husband enjoyed it as did my daughters and i loved it. I saw it 3 times opening weekend. As for you Dan i think you need to go rewatch the entire series because if you are going to spout crap you need to make sure it is correct! Also this part ofthe movie/book is a love story, think chic flick! Get over it. Maybe you are all just jealous of the amount of female attention it is getting?

Well, as a fan of the books and not of the movies, I have to say I was pretty happy with this one. I did not like the first 3 movies because Melissa R screenwriting completely missed, for me, what made the books special. However, by splitting book 4, Bill was able to linger on more of what makes the first part of the book great. Those long drawn out relationship scenes that made you yawn are what I was looking for. The other three movies have been hampered because they could not dwell for long on the relationships at all, which gave it the flat feeling that many people complain of.

I suppose you are a "grumpy old man," ppuk08. And speaking as a grumpy old woman, I almost agree with you. I thought the movie sucked, but (unfortunately) I've seen worse. I guess I've become too jaded to remember what it's like to read and/or watch a love story as a tween or teen and be absolutely mesmerized by the cheesiness.

This was the worst movie I have ever seen. Really corny. Utter trash, but my 11 year old daughter liked it. Maybe I am just a grumpy old man, but in particular the scene where he places his hands on her pregnant stomach and says that the baby says he loves her (she cries), and he loves me, almost made me vomit....
