SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - U.S. congressional candidate and mayor of Saratoga Springs Mia Love participated in early voting on Thursday.

Love cast her ballot in her home town.

Love is running against Representative Jim Matheson in Utah's newly-formed 4th Congressional District.

It's a hotly contested race, as both candidates claim different polls favor them.

If she wins, Love would become the first African-American Republican woman to be elected to Congress.
