WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) - A Utah teenager has pleaded guilty to murder in a slaying that authorities say stemmed from a dispute over a stolen iPod.

The Deseret News of Salt Lake City reports that 19-year-old Joshua Buie pleaded guilty Tuesday in 3rd District Court in West Jordan to first-degree murder in the July 2009 killing of Stephen Lasiloo.

Buie was 17 at the time of the slaying, but was prosecuted as an adult.

He could face 15 years to life in prison at sentencing Aug. 30.

Authorities say Buie got out of a car and approached Lasiloo walking with his sister and a cousin after they all left a home following an argument about a stolen iPod.

Witnesses told police that Buie pulled a gun and shot Lasiloo in the chest.
