She was robbed, hit over the head and dragged into a bathroom, and she's telling her tale of horror to just one station. Rebecca Biellinski was closing shop at the main street deli in Park City late Thursday night when a man broke in and attacked her.
Rebecca was cleaning up in the back of the store when the thief slipped in through a window.
"I was all the way around the corner and kind of kneeling down there's a mop sink back here,” she said.
The man hit her over the back of the head with something hard; she flew forward, hitting her face on the sink. He then grabbed her by both arms, and began pulling her.
"I was dragged backwards into the bathroom pushed into the bathroom,” Biellinski said.
Her attacker then shoved several cases of water in front of the door, and began to take any cash he could get his hands on. 20 minutes later Rebecca finally got the bathroom door open.
“I came out and saw my backpack, saw my cash was gone, saw up front the change was everywhere and saw the window open and the flowers on the floor," she said.
Days later, signs of her struggle are still all over her body. She has bruises on her face, legs and arms.
"From just slamming my arms back trying to stop from being pulled backwards," she explained.
Now, Rebecca tries to return to business as usual, but the though of that frightening night still haunts her.
"I’ve been here 5-6 years and something like this has never even been a thought in my mind," she said.
"This happened around 10:30pm on Thursday may 24th. Rebecca described the man as Caucasian, 5’6” to 5’8”, with a stocky build, broad shoulders, and short brown or black “scraggly” hair. He was wearing a long sleeve black shirt or sweat shirt. Police are asking anyone who may have seen something suspicious, to call Captain Phil Kirk at (435) 731-0082.
