SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Verizon customers with unlimited data might want to enjoy it while it lasts.

The wireless carrier says it plans to make customers switch to tiered data plans when they upgrade.

Verizon will unveil its data share pricing model by mid-summer.

Verizon's plan is to allow users to buy a chunk of data that can be used with multiple devices on the same account.

Verizon stopped offering unlimited data plans to new subscribers a year ago.

Subscribers who were "grandfathered" into unlimited data plans will now have to choose between tiers.
