Utah gas prices down 17 cents from last month

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah's average gas price is $3.42 per gallon after a month of double-digit price drops in all but two of the state's metro areas.
AAA says Tuesday that their latest number is 59 cents up from the same time last year, but 17 cents lower than a month ago.
The St. George area has the state's cheapest gas with an average price of $3.35 per gallon. Salt Lake City gas averages $3.53 per gallon, and Vernal has the most expensive gas with an average price of $3.60 per gallon.
Utah numbers are one cent higher than the national average price of $3.41 per gallon.
The cheapest average gas price in the country is $3.07 per gallon in Albuquerque, N.M.
Wailuku, Hawaii has the highest average price at $4.43 per gallon.
