Utah average gas price 1 cent down from last month

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah's average gas price is 1 cent down from last month, but the state's no longer in the bottom five for the country's cheapest fuel.

AAA says Tuesday that the average gas price in Utah is $3.70 per gallon, which is below the national average of $3.76 per gallon.

Utah's average price is 12th lowest in the nation.

Salt Lake City has the most expensive gas in the state at $3.84 per gallon.

Ogden and St. George post the cheapest prices with an average of $3.66 per gallon.

Wailuku, Hawaii has the priciest gas in the country. Gas there costs an average of $4.89 per gallon.
