Mini Cooper recalls over 200,000 worldwide

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The popular BMW vehicle is being recalled due to a faulty circuit board in the water pump for the turbo charge that can lead to a possible fire. Non-turbo charged Mini's are not involved in the recall.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration is recalling 89,000 domestic 2006 through 2011 Mini-Coopers for possible fire hazard linked to the turbo engine

Car owners should take their vehicle to the dealer for a replacement pump.
